Jimmy Rodriguez Endorses Daniel Butierez Following Arizona’s Seventh Congressional District Special Primary Election

ARIZONA – July 16, 2025 – In the wake of the Special Primary Election for Arizona’s Seventh Congressional District, Jimmy Rodriguez, a grassroots Republican candidate, today announced his full endorsement of Daniel Butierez, the winner of the Republican primary. Rodriguez highlighted the spirit of unity displayed at last night’s watch party, where candidates from across party lines came together to build bridges and focus on serving Arizonans.

“Although I lost the primary, the watch party was a powerful reminder that we’re all in this for the people of AZ CD-7,” said Jimmy Rodriguez. “Daniel Butierez ran a principled campaign, and I’m proud to get behind him as our Republican nominee for the general election on September 23, 2025. We built real bridges last night with Gary Swing of the Green Party and Patrick Harris, the Democrat, showing that true representation means working across party lines.”

In contrast, Rodriguez warned against the influence of big money in the race, noting that Democratic nominee Adelita Grijalva benefited from major PAC funding, raising approximately $1.03 million in total amid heavy involvement from big PACs.

“Special interests are trying to buy this election, but our unity is about truly representing the people—not wealthy donors or shadowy PACs,” he said.

Rodriguez, who ran a transparent, low-budget campaign highlighted by his recent FEC Form 99 filing, urged supporters to rally behind Butierez.

“I’m committed to helping Daniel win this seat for the people of Arizona. The purpose of coming together—with Daniel, Gary, Patrick, and all who share our values—is to ensure Arizona’s Seventh District is represented by someone accountable to everyday citizens, not elite interests. Let’s work together to win this for the people.”
