It's time for change in Southern Arizona
Dan Butierez: True Arizona Fighter
I'm Dan Butierez, a real Arizonan through and through. My family has lived in this state for generations, not just a few years like some of my opponents.
I was born in Tucson in 1966. My dad, Angel, was born in Pima, Arizona, in 1944. My grandpa was born in Solomon, Arizona, all the way back in 1900. We've been building Arizona for over 100 years!
I'm not a career politician. I own small businesses that give people second chances. I hire folks who are fighting addiction or coming out of jail. Last summer, we gave jobs to 63 people, many straight from halfway houses. They're trying to beat fentanyl addiction - a drug pouring across our open border.
At home in Marana, my wife and I rescue animals. We've saved 25 horses and about 70 dogs. We find them good homes or keep caring for them ourselves. Every life matters - that's what I believe.
